How often should leather or suede jackets be cleaned?
Because leather is a natural skin, it requires specialized oils to stay supple. We recommend cleaning once a year (typically at the end of the season) to remove salt, oils, and dirt that can cause the material to crack or stiffen over time.
How do you handle real fur?
Fur should never be subjected to traditional dry cleaning. We use a specialized "tumbled" cleaning method with unique conditioners that clean the hair while keeping the hide underneath soft and hydrated.
Can you remove salt stains from my UGG boots?
Yes. Salt can "burn" and stiffen sheepskin if left too long. We use specialized pH-balanced cleaners to draw out the salt and moisture, followed by a conditioning process to restore the softness of the suede.
Can you fix scuffed toes on boots?
While we can't "repair" torn leather, our cleaning and brushing process can significantly improve the appearance of scuffs on suede and sheepskin by evening out the nap of the fabric.
What types of hats can you clean?
We handle a wide variety, including structured wool or fur-felt hats (like Fedoras or Cowboy hats), delicate fascinators, and high-end baseball caps. Each is evaluated for its material and internal structure before cleaning.
