What is the difference between cleaning and preservation?
Cleaning removes immediate dirt and oils. Preservation involves a deep cleaning followed by packaging the garment in an acid-free, pH-neutral environment (usually a chest or box) to prevent yellowing, mold, and fabric degradation over decades.
Are my sequins, beads, and lace safe during dry cleaning?
